Our cargo-carrying Longtail Hybrid is built with practicality in mind. Powered by Bosch's fourth-generation Cargo Line motor and supplied with a 725Wh battery – but with the ability to accept batteries up to a total of 1,350Wh – it's designed to handle a load of up to 200kg in total. A weight of 60kg can be carried on the sturdy, extended rear carrier, which can accept two standard carrier bags per side and features elastomer suspension. There's an optional extension to allow the fitting of a standard Eurobox, an available headset-mounted front carrier and even an optional down-tube carrier for extra load-carrying potential. Without the additional extra battery there's also a small, lockable storage compartment in the down tube. Is there a better, traffic-beating way of transporting loads around town? We don't think so...
